Terms of Service

Agreed on the call before anyone drives out, the $89 service call already inside it, and unchanged at the door. Anything added to the job on site is quoted on its own and waits for your agreement.

Ranges on the site are typical figures. Evening attendance adds +$30, overnight +$60, both inside the total you were quoted.

Whoever can show the right to be inside: identification with the address, a lease, registration papers, or an owner confirming on the phone. Where that cannot be shown, we stop without opening anything.

Period locks are picked, serviced and rebuilt where they can be, because replacing them is often the loss. Where drilling or replacement is the only route, you hear what will be lost and what the alternative costs before anything is done.

Our labour is covered 90 days from the visit. New hardware carries its maker's warranty; restored antique hardware is warranted on our labour only, as the metal itself is as old as the house. Misuse, later forced entry, and other hands' alterations are excluded.

Payment falls due when the work finishes, by card or contactless, with an itemised invoice by email. A cancellation once the technician has arrived carries the fee quoted at booking.

To the extent the law allows, liability for a claim arising from a job is limited to the amount paid for it, and liability that cannot be limited by law is not limited here.
