The shop

Vintage Lock & Key Santa Rosa is an independent locksmith, based in Santa Rosa, CA, and working Santa Rosa & central Sonoma County. This page covers vintagelocksmithsantarosa.com and the records a job started here leaves behind.

What you tell us

Through the estimate quiz, the only form on the site: a name, a phone number, the neighbourhood, an email if you want the figure in writing, and your description of the lock, door or key. No account, no mailing list, no chat box.

Restoration and period hardware

Work on old hardware often means photographs of a door, a keyway or a maker's mark, and sometimes notes on how a house is secured. Those sit with that job, are shown to nobody outside it, and are deleted with the rest of the file.

What the visit leaves

The page a request came from and any campaign tag in the link, filed with the job. The host keeps the usual server logs, for uptime and for security. Neither is used to build a profile.

The phone number

The number (707) 324-5904 is a tracking line, carried by Twilio, ringing through to dispatch. What the carrier keeps is the calling number, the moment and the length — never the conversation. That log is how we return a call that dropped.

The booking page

Booking online hands you to Nexfield (nexfield.pro), our scheduler. Name, number, address and slot are entered there under Nexfield's terms and come back as a booked job. A phone call reaches the same calendar.

Cookies: none are set

PostHog counts visits in cookieless mode, so no consent banner is needed. Replay and automatic click capture are off; four events are counted — page opened, phone tapped, booking tapped, quiz submitted.

Block us-assets.i.posthog.com to sit outside the count; the site behaves identically. No ad tags and no retargeting run on this site.

Calls and texts

Your number is used for that job: price and window confirmed, technician named, arrival flagged. Service messages, not marketing. Carrier rates are as usual and a STOP reply closes the thread.

Who else handles it

The carrier, Nexfield, our dispatch and, for card payments, the processor at the technician's terminal. Nobody beyond that.

No selling, no renting, no trading, and nothing handed to another locksmith or contractor.

Retention and erasure

Job records stay while the warranty is live and as long as tax and lien rules require; photographs, codes and key numbers tied to an address go when the job closes. Use info@vintagelocksmithsantarosa.com to see the file or to close it.

California residents may use the CCPA and CPRA to see the file, close it, and get it in writing that none of it went anywhere. Same address or (707) 324-5904, with no effect on the service.

Children

A site for owners, tenants and drivers, not for children; we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.

Changes

A change in the facts brings a rewrite and a fresh date underneath. Previous drafts stay off the site.
