Motorcycle keys go missing at the Trione-Annadel trailheads, on the shoulder of Hwy 12 toward Sonoma Valley, in a barn in Bennett Valley, and in apartment garages near Santa Rosa Junior College. Vintage Lock & Key cuts keys for Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, BMW, Ducati and most scooters, from the ignition or from the code on the lock, and programs transponder keys on bikes with immobilizers. The bike stays where it is; no trailer, no dealer queue.

The tech reads the ignition or seat lock to cut a key that fits every lock on the bike, ignition, gas cap, seat and helmet lock, where the factory keyed them alike. Bikes with HISS, Ducati red-key systems or Harley fob security take longer and may need the security module read. The fork lock is tested before the tech leaves, because a fork lock that will not release is the next call otherwise.

Say the make, model and year, and whether any key exists; the price is sealed on the call. The tech texts a name and arrival window, confirms ownership with your ID and the registration or title, and cuts the key at the bike. Most mechanical keys take twenty to thirty minutes. Immobilizer programming adds time, not price, once the number is sealed.

Motorcycle keys run $99 to $240, with the $89 service call applied toward it. A plain mechanical key for an older Honda or a scooter starts near $99. Transponder keys, and immobilizer bikes where no key exists at all, reach $240. A damaged ignition lock that has to be replaced is quoted as a separate line before the work. Saturday and Sunday carry no surcharge of their own; only the $30 evening and $60 overnight windows apply.
